Resource Coverage

Every resource you run. Watched automatically.

Cloud Monitor collects metrics from all NubexCloud resources the moment they're created — no configuration, no agents required for cloud-managed resources. Every VM, database, load balancer, storage bucket, and network component appears in your monitoring console automatically.

Platform Capabilities

Six tools. One operations console.

Cloud Monitor is more than metric collection — it's a complete operations platform. From real-time dashboards to maintenance-window alarm shielding, every tool your team needs to operate cloud infrastructure is built in.

Real-time metrics

Sub-second visibility across every resource.

Metrics collected at 1-second granularity. CPU, memory, disk, network, QPS, connections — view any resource's live status as a time-series chart with configurable time windows from 1 hour to 30 days.

🔔
Smart alarm policies
Set threshold alarms on any metric for any resource — single resource or entire resource groups. Choose comparison operator, time window, and consecutive breach count before triggering. SMS and email sent immediately on breach.
IF cpu_utilization > 80%
FOR 5 consecutive minutes
→ ALERT via SMS + email
🛑
Alarm shielding
Suppress alarms during planned maintenance windows — deployments, restarts, scheduled jobs — without disabling policies. Define a shield by time window and resource scope. Alarms resume automatically when the window ends.
🛡
Shield active: 02:00–04:00 UTC

📁
Resource groups
Organise resources into logical groups — by environment (prod/staging/dev), by application, or by team. View aggregated metrics, create group-level alarm policies, and manage monitoring for all group members at once.
📲
Notification manager
Configure notification channels and assign them to alarm policies. Route critical alarms to on-call engineers via SMS. Send daily summary reports to team emails. Different thresholds can notify different teams.
Unified view
All regions in one console
Cloud Monitor aggregates metrics from all regions into a single dashboard. No need to switch between region consoles — view your entire infrastructure's health from one screen.

What an alarm looks like

From threshold breach to your phone. In seconds.

When a metric crosses your defined threshold, Cloud Monitor detects the breach within the configured time window and immediately dispatches alerts to your notification channels. Every alarm event is logged with full context — resource, metric, value, threshold, and duration.

BoltAgent

Host-level metrics that cloud platforms don't report.

Cloud platforms report infrastructure metrics — CPU credits, disk IOPS, network bytes. But they can't see inside your OS: process-level CPU consumption, memory per application, disk utilisation by directory, or custom application metrics. BoltAgent fills this gap — a lightweight agent installed on Linux or Windows hosts that streams host-level metrics directly into your Cloud Monitor dashboard.

Use Cases

For every team that runs cloud infrastructure.

Cloud Monitor serves the full operations stack — from DevOps engineers debugging a production incident to finance teams tracking resource spend, to SRE teams building automated responses to alerts.

DevOps · SRE · Platform teams
Catch regressions before users report them.
Set alarm policies on every production service. When a deployment causes a spike in error rates or latency, Cloud Monitor alarms notify the team immediately — within the configured time window, not after a flood of user complaints. Historical metric replay shows exactly when the regression started.

Database teams · DBAs
Know your database's health in real time — before it becomes an outage.
Monitor QPS, active connections, replication lag, slow query count, cache hit rate, and disk usage for every database instance. Set alarms on connection count approaching the limit, slow query frequency, or replication lag exceeding acceptable thresholds.

FinOps · Engineering management
Identify underutilised resources before they waste budget for another month.
Cloud Monitor's historical metrics make rightsizing decisions data-driven. A VM running at 8% CPU for 30 days is visible immediately. Group resources by application and see which systems are overprovisioned. Make scaling decisions based on actual utilisation, not guesswork.

4min
average time from breach to team notification
"Before Cloud Monitor we found out about outages from customer complaints. Now our alarm policies catch CPU and memory issues 4 minutes after they start — before any user experiences degradation. That is a fundamental change in how we operate."

40%
reduction in cloud spend after rightsizing based on Cloud Monitor data
"We ran 30-day CPU utilisation reports on all 200 VMs. Thirty of them were consistently below 15%. We downsized those and cancelled 8 completely. Cloud Monitor paid for itself many times over in the first month."

Zero
database outages in 8 months with connection limit alarms
"We set an alarm at 80% of our database connection limit. Every time it triggers, we get a warning 10-20 minutes before the database would start refusing connections. Eight months, zero unplanned database downtime."
